I have to say, detoxing is much easier when you are in a beautiful place like Thailand and surrounded by other people who are detoxing. I have been enjoying this much more than my usual cleanses when I have to go to work and school and keep on with all my activities. This has been such a detox for the mind as well.
Yesterday, I woke up feeling really light headed and during yoga I had a few moments where I felt like I was going to black out completely. I have a tendency toward low blood pressure already so I am guessing that's what was happening. After some more diluted juice and a psyllium bentonite clay shake, I felt better.
This morning I did yoga again and felt completely normal and I am even on a stationary bike getting some cardio in now as I type this! I feel light and empty and energetic today, even with the rain that decided to come in this morning.
And my new goal: I am going to challenge myself to do yoga every single day for the next 100 days. It doesn't have to be a yoga class or anything formal, but ten minutes, or thirty, or an hour. Whatever! Yoga makes me feel so alive and awake and peaceful and flexible. I want it as part of my daily life. And it is something I can do anywhere! Even while traveling! So that's the goal. Yoga every day starting today.
